Consider joining Stripers Forever
| NYSDEC is seeking volunteers to join a Hudson River Cooperative Angler Program. Volunteers keep a diary of their fishing experiences. DEC is required by the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission to run an angler diary program to help better estimate recreational fishing impact. It is a way the users of the resource can help manage the striper population and help keep it at sustainable levels. If you'd like to participate, email Kris McShane with your name and address.
